Working with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), we developed and deployed Thunderdome, the nation’s largest zero-trust program and one of the most advanced cybersecurity efforts in the federal government. Our teams strengthened commercial tech—software-defined networking, conditional access, and AI—to meet the Department of Defense’s (DOD) strict security standards. Thunderdome cleared 152 out of 152 of the DOD’s zero trust capability benchmarks, meeting the Pentagon’s highest standard for cyber readiness well ahead of the department’s 2027 deadline for full zero trust implementation.

Using AI, cloud, and advanced tech, we drove a massive modernization of the Department of Veterans Affairs systems—reducing disability claims backlog by 88% and wait times by 191 days. Now, virtually all disability claims are electronic.

When it comes to protecting public health, data can be the difference between failure and success—if you’re able to collect it, organize it, and distill it into insights that can be easily shared with local health leaders. We built a data analytics and visualization platform for the CDC that does just that. This centralized, cloud-based hub enables CDC employees to share data and collaborate on analysis work. It eliminates redundant labor and lets the CDC rapidly distribute actionable information to hospitals and state and municipal health agencies.   

We put the first large language model (LLM) in space. The tool makes performing maintenance and repair procedures aboard the International Space Station (ISS) National Lab faster and easier. Then, we partnered with Meta to launch Space Llama—a model that can respond to and analyze written prompts, images, and sounds without an internet connection. A2E2™ fueled by Space Llama is now aboard the ISS National Lab where it will help astronauts access information, conduct research, and perform repair work.

We developed and field-tested the U.S. military’s first wireless extended reality (XR) training system. Using 5G networks, it lets soldiers train in the field with virtual and augmented reality. It also captures performance data that can be used to improve both individual and unit readiness. Soldiers reported that the system enabled them to learn specific medical procedures that they could not have learned using other training technologies.
